We’re thrilled to announce that Development Squads Coach Jo Camilleri and Stroke Development Instructor Nicole Dodds will be joining the Riverstone Dolphins team from October, 2025 — bringing even more experience and enthusiasm to our growing club community.
Meet Jo Camilleri – Development Squads Coach
Jo brings a wealth of coaching knowledge and a passion for swimmer development. With a proven track record in guiding young athletes through the competitive swimming pathway, Jo will be leading our Development Squads — helping our swimmers refine technique, build endurance, and gain the confidence to become a competitive representative swimmer. Development Squads will be running on Friday afternoon at 4.30pm and Saturday morning at 9.00am for 45 to 90 minutes depending on the skill level of the swimmer.
Registrations will be via Swim Central, with up-front payment of the Term block ahead of time. See link below in this post to register interest for your swimmer.
Meet Nicole Dodds – Stroke Development Instructor
Nicole will be heading up our Stroke Development sessions, focusing on building strong foundations in all four strokes. Her approach blends technical precision with fun and encouragement, making her a fantastic asset for swimmers transitioning from learn-to-swim into squad-level training. Swimmers that participate in Stroke Development need a reasonable grasp of swimming strokes and be able to swim a minimum of 25m unassisted to participate.
Stroke Development with Nicole will be running on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 4.30pm – 5.30pm throughout the school term.

These development programs are available exclusively to Riverstone Dolphins Club members, and thanks to the generous support of the Riverstone Schofields Memorial Club, they will be offered at a discounted rate.

We are conducting an initial EOI for those swimmers that are interested in participating.

Formal registrations will open soon via Swim Central, so keep an eye out for email from our Race Secretary advising it is time to get on board. Places will be limited and will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. You may commit to both squads and stroke development, but these will be charged for separately.
This is a fantastic opportunity to train with two experienced and passionate swimming development professionals. Whether your child is just stepping into stroke development or ready to take on squad training, The Dolphins 31st Season is looking bright!
